In this 4th live stream, I talk about Correspondences, the art of finding relationships and resonance between different qualities, such as colour and sound.
We look at deconstructing the Sine Wave, and how it relates to Astrology, and how you can represent your own astrological chart in music.
The chart below shows correspondences between musical note, colour, frequency values (in 432Hz tuning), tempo, brainwave modulators, zodiac sign (sine), time of day and time of year.
This chart is my own work, and the frequency values were calculated using the harmonic series as the basis for the scale.
As shown in the video, we can use this in combination with our own Astrological birth chart, to represent the musical qualities of the universe at the time of our birth.
Following the philosophical section of the stream, I dive into Ableton and start putting together a template for a Drum & Bass tune :)
